GUN SAFETY LOCK Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC F41A17/00 

FIELD: weapon and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: automatic weapon has two parallel gun handles, between which there is a control flag of this safety lock installed. Safety lock is arranged in the form of movable spring-loaded element, with the possibility of its automatic disconnection by means of gunner hand finger, embracing gun handle of weapon. Handle, which is right versus gunner, is installed along vertical plane of weapon or with displacement to the right from this plane, and additional left handle is displaced to the left, being arranged in the front of lower main feed hopper also displaced to the left. Safety lock represents a spring-loaded cartridge, having left-sided transverse bracket for figure control flag. Specified cartridge is installed inside its vertical guide, which is available inside the main handle of weapon and is equipped with side vertical slot that serves for passage of transverse bracket in process of device assembly. In it, near handle base, there is an upper hole arranged for passage of coupling cartridge ledge and for adhesion of sliding trigger element with guide bed of weapon, under-barrel mounted cantilever element and ledge of gas piston in process of safety lock connection.

EFFECT: increased reliability of weapon.
