FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and is designed to be used as a metre of linear surface crookedness of the pipe internal cavity. A calliper comprises a tube body marked in penetration lengths whereon an aligning cone with fastener movable along the tube is mounted, a blind with unsoldered conductors, and a measuring probe. The measuring probe consists of a tube of greater diametre with its one end connected to the body by an adapter sleeve with a shaft arranged in a cavity of the measuring probe, and with the other end bounded with a spherical bottom. Thus the shaft is supplied with two equidistant elastic plates along the axis of the measuring probe so that flat segments attached to the ends of the plates can pass through the longitudinal windows of the latter. The surfaces of the elastic plates comprise resistance strain gage connected by conductors through the blind with the device that transformed resistance variation signals o the latter.

EFFECT: design of calliper of offered type allows for operative measurement of depositions on the internal surface of a heat-exchange tube and for rather objective presentation of its state.
