FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: throttle is installed at input section of heat exchanging pipe and can interact with hold down grate tied with pipe plate by means of disconnector. The throttle consists of a shank end and a cartridge where the bottom of this cartridge interacts with the hold down grate. The latter can travel along pipes. The shank ends have channels made in form of crossing apertures; one of the channels of the throttle is crossed along length with several crossing channels before going out beyond the boundaries of the throttle; output apertures are made perpendicular to the crossing channels.
EFFECT: design of disclosed here throttle improves operation conditions of bundle of heat exchanging pipes of steam generating NPI (nuclear power installation).
