FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of investigation and analysis of materials by detection of their physical properties. Method for sedimentation research of wet crushing products and suspensions includes filling of setting reservoir with reference fluid. Pressure pulled by it is identified. Fixed volume of taken sample of investigated product is introduced. Pressure growth in setting reservoir is measured versus to initial value after introduction of taken sample and in time that corresponds to setting of hard particles of controlled size. Content of hard particles with controlled size is calculated in extracted sample, using the following formula: A=h/H×100%, where h is growth of pressure versus initial one in setting reservoir in time that corresponds to setting of hard particles with controlled size; H is growth of pressure versus initial one in setting reservoir after introduction of extracted sample of investigated product. Density of extracted product sample is calculated according to the following formula: pp=pf+HS/Vp, where pp and pf are accordingly density of extracted investigated product and density of reference fluid; H is growth of pressure versus initial pressure in setting reservoir after introduction of investigated product sample; S - working area of liquid mirror in cross section of setting fluid; Vp - volume of taken sample of investigated product.
EFFECT: expansion of functional resources due to determing the granulometric structure and density of the product.
