FIELD: physics; optics.
SUBSTANCE: method uses intense fluorescence of dye molecules in a polymer matrix and reproducibility of fluorescent characteristics is provided in a long period of time. The dye used is fluorescent molecules of 7-diethylamino-4-methylcoumarin, which are dissolved in methanol and then mixed with a solution of polyvinylbutyral in methanol. A solid fluorescent layer is obtained through deposition on the surface of a glass substrate.
EFFECT: design of a method of preparing fluorescent reference standards for multiple use which are capable of storing whiteness units for a long period of time (up to one year), as well as allowing for cleaning working surfaces of samples under production conditions.
