FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electrical engineering relates to electrical engineering, particularly to assembly of stator core consisting of segments. Proposed method consists in producing core segments with at least two bores in core back, arranging segments layer-by-layer on stator pressure parts with the help of clamping elements entering aforesaid bores, crimping the core, clamping it and fastening onto the housing. Note here that, first at least two layers of segments are laid. Clamping elements are built up in compliance with core height and fitted in segment bores. Core clamped and clamping pressure not relieved, core is embraced with shell with holes, to fastened with stator pressure parts. Now pressure is relieved, fasteners are fitted in shell holes and attached to said shell and core by, for example welding.
