FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for separating granular materials into fractions by particle size and can be used in chemical, construction, mining, food, compound feed, agriculture and other industries. The device for separating materials has a frame, a housing in form of a box with a cover mounted on the frame through a vibratory bearing, a screening surface made from wire mesh and fitted on guides mounted on the inner sidewalls of the housing, a distributing device, loading and two unloading pipes and at least one vibration generator. The distributing device is mounted on a tray which is fitted inclined to the box under the loading pipe in front of the screening surface mounted on guide angle elements and supports which are fitted with detachable arms, directed across the box, placed along the direction of movement of material and attached to sidewalls of the box. Projections of the arms in contact with the screening surface are fitted with elastomer elements, and guide angle elements are mounted with possibility of fixed change of their position and provision for changing the angle of inclination of the screening surface together with the detachable arms. The screening surface is fixed on the side of unloading pipes using a holding element on a transverse support attached to sidewalls of the box, and on the side of the loading pipe using threaded studs and the angle element on the said tray, and is stretched such that its surface has the shape of a fragment of the lateral surface of a polyhedron, conditionally inscribed on an arc which is convex relative the horizontal. The angle of inclination of the screening surface increases as material moves to the unloading pipe.

EFFECT: more efficient separation of material and operation of the device, as well as simplification of the design of the device, reduced labour input in its manufacture, widening of its functional capabilities and cutting on maintenance costs.
