FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: air control valve main part comprises casing with cover and flange for attachment to air control valve chamber-bracket. Moving baffle, plunger with orifices to change air control valve spool and work chamber, pushrod, brake line additional charge valve and check valve are arranged along casing lengthwise axis, parallel to the flange-mounting surface. Main part casing accommodates damping device comprising spring-loaded moving baffle with rod and damping device valve. The latter is arranged in spring-loaded moving baffle rod to move along said rod, towards rod collar against the stop. There is a spring arranged between valve and rod with force exceeding pressure in damping device space communicated with spool chamber, downstream of the first braking stage. Damping device moving baffle travel in braking exceeds that of damping device valve to its closing position. Damping device lengthwise axis lies parallel to main part casing lengthwise axis.

EFFECT: ruling out valve damage, constant force on valve irrespective of braking line charge pressure.
