SUBSTANCE: invention relates to distributed computer systems. The step for remote deployment of a distributed application on a distributed computer system involves: assigning network switches for at least one virtual local area network (VLAN), where at least one port of the switch in one of the network switches is assigned for two or more VLANs, formation in each computer a first virtual network interface (VNI) and a second VNI, where the VLAN driver forms the first VNI and the second VNI over the physical network interface when: (i) the VLAN driver is installed on each computer, which should be associated with the VLAN, (ii) the VLAN driver is linked to the physical network interface, (iii) the VLAN driver creates several VNI over each physical network interface, and (iv) the VLAN driver is installed in the protocol stack between the network interface driver and the internet protocol (IP) driver; and linking of the first VNI and the first VLAN and linking of the second VNI with the second VLAN.

EFFECT: generation of a virtual network topology for different distributed applications on a single distributed computer system without need for physical reconfiguration of the distributed computer system and configuration of wire connections inside the system.
