FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering and is intended for variation of amplitude and doubling of AC voltage frequency. Frequency doubler has primary and secondary windings, core and facility for creation of permanent magnetisation in it. Sections of core, bearing primary and secondary windings, are connected to circuited magnetic conductor free from windings in crisscross manner. Permanent magnetisation is arranged between ends of section with secondary winding. Due to nonlinearity of magnetisation and bridge structure of core, secondary winding induces AC voltage of doubled frequency only.
EFFECT: improved reliability.
