FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power electrical equipment and can be used for power supply of automation systems and electric motors with higher frequency of rotation, as well as induction heating systems. Prior art provides different structures of ferromagnetic frequency multipliers, principle of operation of which is based on selecting desired fundamental frequency harmonic of supply mains with help of various combinations of connection of secondary windings and in some cases resonance circuits. Proposed frequency multiplication method comprises using an additional degree of freedom of a transformer structure with a rotating magnetic field and due to sharply non-linear distribution of generated by primary three-phase winding magnetic flux. Therefore, output voltage is generated from separate half-waves, taken from coils of secondary winding and switched in a specified sequence, that provides multiplication of frequency of output voltage. Disclosed device implements said multiplication method and enables to obtain a six-fold multiplying factor, that is, at mains frequency of 50 Hz at output of multiplier a sinusoidal voltage of frequency 300 Hz is generated. Design of multiplier is manufacturable and is suitable for automated winding.
EFFECT: efficient multiplication of frequency of output voltage, simple design of transformer, higher efficiency and high electromagnetic compatibility of device with supply mains.
