FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and particularly to large umbrella type reflectors, for example with diametre of 15-25 m. According to the invention, the spacecraft antenna reflector has a central unit hinged to a bearing frame made in form of spokes having links which are mechanically connected to a net, a collapsible mast attached to the central unit on the opposite side for opening the reflector. Each spoke is made from a predefined equal odd number of links, rigidly fixed by springs and holders relative their axes of rotation after opening out the reflector into the working position, where the end of the latter from the top of the reflector of the link of each spoke is rigidly attached to a strut with a defined angle to the said link and length directed radially to the side of the mast. The free end of each strut is elastically joined by an elastic cord to a device for adjusting the shape of the radio-reflecting surface of the reflector.
EFFECT: guaranteed working capacity of large (15-25 m) spread out reflectors during the entire on-station operation of not less than 15 years in conditions of combined effect of gravitational and centrifugal forces and under harsh effects of ionising radiations of space - cosmic radiation doses, which increases rigidity and reduces relative elongation of size-stable chords and strings used in making said reflectors, as well as provision for relatively low mass of the proposed reflector compared to existing ones.
