FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of manufacturing space antennas with a transformable large-sized reflector. Method includes the development of a finite element model of the reflector and calculations based on this model, incl. nodes of its shape-generating structure (SGS). At the same time, the elements of the power frame are made, and assembly of SGS fragments and adjustment of the working surface of the reflector is performed without the use of a technological template, taking into account the stress-strain state of the SGS and the power skeleton.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the required geometric and mechanical characteristics of the working surface immediately after assembly without adjustment in the composition of the reflector and without the use of cumbersome labor-intensive technological equipment.
