SUBSTANCE: application: in the field of electric engineering. According to method, in the main n-phase system, process of high harmonic components compensation is subordinated to characteristics of the latter in each of phases and, simultaneously, power coefficient is stabilised, by controlled compensation of reactive power - at the level of required value, at the same time process of compensation and stabilisation in the main n-phase system, realised in order to improve efficiency in execution of the stated method jointly with balancing of load currents relative to one of specified phases that has been selected previously, is carried out by means of additional n-phase source of power.
EFFECT: improved reliability and expansion of functional resources.
