SUBSTANCE: according to the method, in the main n - phase system the compensation process of higher harmonic components depends on characteristics of the latter in each of the phases and at the same time the power coefficient is stabilised owing to adjustable compensation of reactive power - at the level of required value; at that, compensation and stabilisation processes in the main n - phase system, which are performed together with its adjustment, are performed by means of additional n - phase power source. Additional power source is fed from combination of at least two minimum loaded phases which are pre-selected so that asymmetry in the main adjustable system can be decreased.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency and economy.
