SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of repairing malfunction of a fibre line. For this purpose, a station converts an indication signal containing information on blocking emergency signals into an optical signal directed over a downlink fibre cable when malfunction is detected in the uplink fibre cable; and, during reception of this optical signal with the said indication signal, maintaining normal operation state of a lower lying station. Emergency signals of lower lying stations which are not neighbours of the malfunctioning segment are blocked.
EFFECT: increased operation reliability of the system.
