FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: billets are installed in autoclave with a set of heat resistant inserts, at the inlet of which there is source of working fluid installed, for instance gas generator, and nozzle is installed at the outlet. Specified surfaces of billets are heated with a flow of gaseous working fluid with temperature of 2000-4000 K, at the pressure of 0.2-50 MPa and ambient velocity of 50-900 m/s. Depth δt of wall heating up to specified temperature T and duration of heating τ are determined from the following dependencies: δT=ξTτn, ξT =f(α), α=f(Re, Pr), where δT is depth of billet wall heating to a specified temperature T, ξT is coefficient of proportionality, τ is duration of heat treatment, n is exponent of power, α is coefficient of heat emission, Re is Reynolds criterion, Pr is Prandtl criterion. Coefficient ξT and exponent of power n are determined experimentally or by calculation, and coefficient α, criterion Re and criterion Pr are determined by calculation. Working fluid used may be represented by inertial gases or combustion products of hydrocarbon liquid or gaseous fuels, and also liquid and solid rocket propellants.
EFFECT: production of composites with specified properties of product thickness or volume.
