FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction, namely - to designs of metal-wood beams used as bearing elements of ceilings or covers of buildings. Technical result is achieved by the fact that metal-wood I-beam comprises upper and lower belts of wood with slots and cylindrical deepenings for installation of wall from thin-sheet metal with transverse ribs of semi-cylindrical shape, which are directed in opposite sides, and cylindrical dowel for fixation of wall corrugations in belts.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensity of metal-wood I-beams manufacturing and improved strength of wall and belts connection.
