FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: metal-wood I-beam includes upper and lower belts, and also a wall. Belts are made of wood, the wall is made of metal. The wall comprises transverse semi-cylindrical corrugations. The wall is installed in longitudinal slots and cylindrical grooves of belts and is fixed with cylindrical dowels. At the side of the cylindrical dowel that does not contact the wall there are additional fastening elements. Additional fastening elements in shape follow the fragment of the wall that comprises a corrugation and flat sections at its every side. Cylindrical dowels are provided along the entire height of the wall.
EFFECT: higher strength of dowel connection of the wall with the beam belts.
