SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnics. Proposed altitude-blast pyro comprises casing made up of semi-spheres jointed together, fabric enclosure arranged inside said casing filled with initiation charge, functional pyro elements arranged between said fabric enclosure and jointed semi-spheres, propellant charge arranged in capsule attached to lower semi-sphere and furnished with remote electric fuse, delay timer arranged inside initiation charge communicated, via semi-sphere bore, with propellant charge, and actuation loopy handle. There is load-bearing enclosure on the casing of, in fact, equal thickness made up of shell and variable-cross section coat applied on said shell. Aforesaid shell and coat represent multi-layer built-up adhesive tape, its width making 0.097 to 0.120 of casing diametre.
EFFECT: equal surface strength allowing instantaneous fragmentation of pyro charge casing and uniform scatter of burning elements of proper shape that make preset pattern.
