FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electrical engineering and may be used in chemical, mining, oil processing, food, microbiological and other fields of industry. During durable frequency-dynamic braking, a timely changeover is provided for auger electric motor into reversible rotation for complete removal of solid fraction from centrifuge rotor and timely disconnection of density detectors of two liquid fractions, which control adjustable valves in discharge mode of the main operation of centrifuge.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation in mode of durable dynamic braking and increased efficiency of multicomponent mixtures separation and quality of liquid fractions discharged from centrifuge by reduction of concentration of each liquid fraction in another liquid fraction, frequency-controlled drive of centrifuge provides for speedup and braking of two asynchronous short-circuited electric motors of centrifuge rotor (main drive) and its auger for unloading of solid fraction (cake) with account of high vibration and resonant phenomena.
