FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction, namely to composite or combined structures of large-span shells of various-purpose buildings. Large-span shell comprises frame, which is connected to protective film arranged on outer side of structure and to steel-wire mesh arranged on its internal side, at the same time reservoirs that might be filled with air or helium are located between mentioned film and mesh. According to one of shell versions, tubular frame joined to carcass trusses is arranged under steel-wire mesh. According to another version of shell, carcass is arranged in the form of several, preferably three, belts of cantilever sections arranged one over another, spaces between which are filled with frames with window sashes.
EFFECT: improved operational, in particular strength properties of shell, and accordingly, improved reliability.
