FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for mounting bearing elements – blocks of large-span metal structures of coverings of large-span industrial and cultural and entertainment facilities, using a technology of cyclic longitudinal sliding along guiding substructures, using a pushing force. The method for mounting large-span coverings with a pushing force consists in that mounting elements of a truss are used, which are installed on an auxiliary reinforced concrete structure with racks of variable height, repeating a spatial form of truss belts. The reinforced concrete structure is made with a rear nose and a launching nose, and movement of an enlarged fragment of the truss is performed by means of a jack installed in the rear nose, along antifriction gaskets of a rolling monorail track.
EFFECT: reduction in mounting time.
