FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power engineering, particularly to windmills that can be used aboard the ships to transform wind energy into electric power. Windmill wind intake comprises steel rotary tube, fabric curtains, and carcass made up of aligned upper and lower parts. Carcass lower part is formed by steel rods penetrating into rotary tube and furnished with tubes-crossarms fitted thereon to make a closed contour. Carcass upper part is formed by supporting tube-crossarm tensioned by wire rope in horizontal position, one end of said wire rope being fixed on rotary tube face upper rod and the other end being fastened on extending rod of coupling tube-crossarm. Carcass one side is covered by large-meshed fish net, while curtains are made to carcass shape and fastened on to aforesaid wire rope.
EFFECT: reduced metal input, higher efficiency, reliability and safety in ship conditions.
