FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to vacuum chuck fastened on surface of fastening and also to vacuum suction cap for it. The vacuum chuck consists of stabilising frame (10) with ray elements (13) diverging from central element (11); the frame is encased into material of vacuum suction cap (2) or put over it, while ray elements (13) run to at least half of radius of vacuum suction cap (2); said ray elements are designed to bend and flexibly return; also upon taking off external holding down pressure holding device (18) additionally moves central element (11) off surface (17) of fastening under influence of return force and owing to preceding resilient deformation of holding down device (18) in the middle part of a cover as result of holding down pressure. The design of vacuum suction cap (2) is like follows: diverging from central element (11) ray elements (13) of stabilising frame (10) are equipped on top with at least one end spacing element (26) in essence on all sides embedded into a soft elastic material; this element has height approximately equal to height of coating on ray elements (13).

EFFECT: vacuum chuck is capable to reliably, strongly and for long time stay even on rough surfaces of fastening.
