FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices protecting from impacts and vibration. The impact damper consists of support elements with loop holding components, of a tensile element in form of a wound compression spring, of a main and additional damping components, of adjusting elements of spring tension, of smooth limiting buffers of spring tension and damping components, and of noise insulating devices. The main damping component out of a continuous steel cable connects support elements by means of alternate winding forming loops fixed with loop holding devices. The additional damping tensile component out of a steel cable is perpendicular wound around working parts of the main damping cable component along spiral. The main and additional damping components are made with dividing rings and with corresponding loop holding devices.
EFFECT: upgraded reliability and efficiency of impact and vibration protecting device, simplification of design and increased service life.
