FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in steam-water separators to separate two-phase flow into steam and fluid. Proposed separator incorporates swirling impeller. Riser pipe has circular drain chamber, while drain tank is arranged outside said riser pipe. Plate-cover is arranged above said riser pipe and drain tank at preset distance therefrom as well as nozzle and vent outlets. Relative area of multiple holes made in said riser pipe varies from 30% to 70%. Steam and water are separated, separated steam is discharged upward from the said nozzle while separated water flows downward via drain chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
