FIELD: liquid friction bearings for rolls of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: in sealing assembly of roll having journal with cone portion passing from end surface of roll to its small-diameter portion and mounted with possibility of rotation in non-rotary chock of bearing, said chock is spaced along axis from end surface of roll in order to provide annular gap between them. Sealing assembly closes said gap and it includes rigid round sealing end plate secured to chock. Sealing end plate may engage with elastic sealing members joined with it for separating above mentioned gap by inner chamber adjoined to end surface of roll and outer chamber adjoined to chock. There is connection member in upper quadrant of sealing end plate for providing ventilation between inner and outer chambers.
