FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises at least one current pickup (T1, T2, T3), rectifier circuit (3) supply feed current (1a), electronic processing unit (6) to control actuating mechanism designed to actuate tripping mechanism of primary conductor (1), and supply circuit (4) incorporating voltage stabiliser (17) to feed voltage (VA) to aforesaid processing unit. Electronic processing unit power supply circuit comprises voltage increase circuit (19, 20) to feed increased voltage (VB) to input of voltage stabiliser (17) designed to supply feed voltage (VA) to electronic processing unit (VB) exceeding voltage (VM) across the terminals of reservoir capacitor. Invention covers also automatic circuit breaker incorporating above described tripper.
