FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal technological processes, can be used for electrospark vibration alloying of metal products of arbitrary configuration - cutting tool, die tooling, parts of machines and mechanisms, their marking and application of alphanumeric information on metal products. Device comprises a housing connected by a contact terminal to an earthing device, inside which four functional units are located - a power supply unit, a frequency unit, a cooling unit and a storage capacitor unit, and arranged outside the device housing vibration unit, consisting of vibrator with electrode holder and electrode, wherein it comprises pulse power supply unit connected with power supply unit of storage capacitors and having rectangular pulse shape with frequency of 500 Hz, and is equipped with protection against short circuit, wherein unit of pulse power supply together with capacitor switches are configured to provide discrete set of different fixed total capacitances in wide range from 10 to 4840 mcF.
EFFECT: higher quality of alloying and higher wear resistance at hardening and marking of metal articles.
