FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of thermodiffusion treatment of products, manufactured in preference from ferrous metals and alloys. Method of thermodiffusion strengthening of teel parts includes formation on surface of each part of layer of diffusion-exothermal composition and its inflammation. After diffusion-exothermal composition layer formation parts are located in tank with sand mat, and inflammation of composition is implemented with application of fuse facility located in diffusion-exothermal composition and blasting fuse. diffusion-exothermal composition contains exothermal plain thermit at a following ratio of ingredients, wt %: aluminium magnesium alloy 23.8-24.2, iron scale 23.9-24.1, absorbent carbon 12.2-13.2, yellow hematic salt 3.8-4.2, barium carbonate 3.1-3.3, chilean saltpeter 7.8-8.2, silicon dioxide in the from of high-silica sand is the rest, herewith it is used barium carbonate of dispersion 1-6 mcm, and the rest ingredients of composition - of dispersion 50-400 mcm.

EFFECT: effective, safe and easily actualised part strengthening, implemented not only in stationary conditions of plants-manufacturers of machinery, but in field conditions.
