FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mining industry and can be used during development of mineral deposits, and namely during development of low duty deposits of kimberlite pipes. Method involves separate removal of overburden and ore from open pit, primary concentration of wet ore with sonic treatment, removal and transportation of disintegrated ore for further concentration. Ore is removed by means of blasting operation, primary concentration of wet ore is performed with sonic treatment in pre-constructed sedimentation basin divided with a dike into sludge pit, clean water collector and at least two temporary ore storage and disintegration reservoirs. Blasted ore is arranged in temporary ore storage and disintegration reservoir, after sonic treatment of wet ore, water level is raised in the reservoir and discharged by gravity to sludge pit, from which the clarified water is transferred to temporary ore storage and disintegration storage reservoir. The next batch of blasted ore is stored in free reservoir and the cycle of operations on the primary concentration of the next ore batch is repeated.

EFFECT: reduction of transport costs and concentration costs owing to reduction of ore volume supplied to concentration plant.
