FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fans, particularly to designs of radial fan impeller and can be used in general-purpose ventilation systems. Proposed impeller comprises asymmetric curvilinear vanes arranged so that the vane surface generating line is parallel to impeller rotational axis, while concave side of the vane, in its cross section perpendicular to impeller rotational axis, faces the side of impeller rotation. Note that impeller width b2 is smaller in the vane rear edges than b1 in the vane front edges. Impeller circumference diametre D1 whereon vane front edges are located makes at least 0.70 of diametre D2 of circumference whereon vane rear edges are located. Note here that angle β1 between vane profile chord and tangential line to circumference with diametre D1 does not exceed 45°, said angle having its apex located at the point of intersection on vane profile chord and circumference with diametre D1, while maximum concavity f of vane profile does not exceed 0.1 of chord length along profile 1. Note as well that impeller width b2, in the zone of vane rear edges, males at least 0.25 D2, and the number of vanes does not exceed 15.
