FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to structural elements of pumps and compressors, other than displacement pumps and compressors, and can be used in vanes made from polymer materials for aircraft engines, as well as in industrial ventilation systems, etc. Proposed fan vane with multi-layer reinforcing material comprises shank, vane, front edge and is made from interbound layers of woven reinforcing composite material with carbon-fiber base fitted into rigid epoxy binder. Note here that said layers are made from a set of interwoven bands of woven composite material, and that a portion of bands makes the warp of the layer to extend along vane span, from shank to vane top. Note that another portion of bands makes the layer weft to extend from front to rear edges and over to vane surface. Warp and weft layers are interwoven in staggered order inside and between layers.

EFFECT: ease of manufacture and lower costs with no reduction in strength.
