FIELD: three-dimensional woven stiffening element.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for forming a three-dimensional woven stiffening element, as well as to a three-dimensional woven stiffening element. A method for forming a three-dimensional (3D) woven omega-shaped stiffening element is carried out by flat weaving of a number of layers from mutually interlacing warp and weft fibres to obtain a flat-woven material having an upper section, first and second sections of jumpers, first and second sections of the base and an inner shell section. The three-dimensional (3D) woven fabric is woven such that at least some of the weft fibres extend continuously through the junction of the web portion with the base portions. The flat woven fabric is then formed into an omega shape.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the physical and mechanical properties of the products obtained.
