SUBSTANCE: fibrous structure (100) is produced as a single piece by means of multilayer weaving using a method involving: weaving warp threads of at least one first group (110) of layers of warp threads with weft threads of which at least some (T1, T2) are woven with excess length so that weft thread end parts extend beyond weaving zone, where weft thread end parts are turned in order to weave them with warp threads by reinserting them into layers of warp threads, and forming a hollow part, in particular a tubular part, by folding first woven group (110) of layers of warp threads back on itself and pulling ends of reinserted weft threads, so that a fibrous preform for a component comprising a hollow part can be obtained as a single piece.
