FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry. Mix consists of sand mix, solution of sodium hydrate of 0.1 to 10 wt %, binder of the base of alkaline metal silicate of 0.1 to 5 wt % and suspension additive in amount of 0.1 to 3 wt %. Sand mix particle size varied from 0.1 to 1 mm. Sodium hydrate solution concentration varies from 20 to 40 wt %. Aforesaid binder contains solid matter in amount of 20 to 70%. Suspension contains solid mater in amount of 30 to 70%. Suspension represents spherical particles of amorphous SiO2 in the form of two granulometric fractions, fraction A consisting of SiO2 particles of 1 to 5 µ, and fraction B consisting of SiO2 particles of 0.01 to 0.05 µ. Volume ratio of both fractions varies from 0.8:1.0 to 1.2:1. Proposed mix is used to produce formed product.
EFFECT: higher mix plasticity and hardening rate.
