FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises clamping and revolving the roll, separating stem layer therefrom and withdrawal of separated layer. Roll revolves in contact with moving surfaces wherein holes are made to force air in separation zone. Proposed device comprises appliances for clamping and revolving the roll, separating stem layer therefrom and withdrawal of separated layer by conveyor. Appliance to separate stem layer comprises intake drum with external flexible elements, blower, branch pipe and air duct. Drum housing has holes to allow air forced by blower to pass therein. Drum shaft accommodates shutters to open and close aforesaid holes.
EFFECT: perfected process.
