FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method to produce bisulphate magnesium-based cooking liquor for manufacture of cellulose can be used in pulp and paper industry. Method is performed in two steps. First step comprises interaction of lumpy brucite with sulfur dioxide of bisulphate solution with pH 3-5 to produce intermediate solution with pH 5-7 and a 55-85% fraction of bound sulfur dioxide. Second step comprises interaction of produced solution with sulfur dioxide of kiln gas to produce ready bisulphate solution with pH 3.0-5.0 and 47-55%. fraction of bound sulfur dioxide.
EFFECT: perfected performances.
