FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: there made are simultaneous measurements of natural acoustic signals at least twice with two sensors, the direction diagrams of which of the plane perpendicular to axis of down-hole tool, are located at an angle of 90°. At that, each time there calculated is signal modulus equal to square root of sum of squares of signals of both sensors. When determining boundaries of bad modulus values relative to background modulus values of acoustic signals beyond the perforation interval, there determined are interval boundaries of flow profile, which coincide with boundaries of calculated bad values of signal modulus: and during repeated measurements - stability of boundaries and intervals in time.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining flow profile boundaries within the reservoir bed perforation.
