FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for weighing people has a platform mounted on a weighing base or a pedestal having at least one weight sensor connected to a measuring circuit which transmits the measurement signal to a computer unit and to a device for storing measured values or control values, as well as a control circuit which compares measured current values and previously measured and/or calculated and/or stored values. According to the invention, based on the comparison result, the said control circuit sends an instruction to at least one lamp illuminating the platform area so that it is visible to the user standing on the platform in a stable position, independent of the direction and size of feet relative the platform.
EFFECT: possibility of clear and easy reading of the readings of the weighing apparatus by the user at a distance while maintaining beautiful design of the weighing apparatus.
