SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agricultural machine building, particularly to shredders-mixers-distributors of fodder. The shredder-mixer-distributor of fodder consists of a conic hopper mounted on a mobile frame; a conic screw with knives is installed inside the hopper. Surface of screw turns in radial direction is made at alternate angle a determined from the condition: , where α is angle of incline of turn surface to plane of perpendicular axis of the screw; R is radius, m, f is coefficient of fodder mixture friction against surface of the turn; n is rotation frequency of the screw, rev/min; g is acceleration of gravity, m/sec².

EFFECT: reduced amount of fodder left in hopper due to improved self-cleaning of screw turns.
