FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: according to method of generation of coloured preliminary image data of templates of documents, upon determining colour scheme required by user, each template of document represented at collection of reflected preliminary image data of document templates is coloured according to colour scheme chosen by user, thus facilitating user's preliminary study of collection of document templates coloured in compliance with colour scheme required by user before choosing one of reflected templates for actual use. Coloured templates of documents are transformed into raster format and are reflected for a user, thus allowing to choose a specific template coloured according to a colour scheme chosen by a user.
EFFECT: expanded possibility to assess chosen colour scheme in wide range of available document templates.
