FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: method for interval control of train traffic with centralised dispatching control and three-digit automatic blocking with intermediate signals consists in automatic maintenance by locomotive on-board control devices together with automatic blocking devices of safe speed and interval between trains moving on hauls in one direction. Moving of each of codirectional trains is performed under green signal of the first traffic light in train movement direction under green signal of the second traffic light in train movement direction. Locomotive on-board control devices of each train and central control room, during movement of each train to the first forthcoming traffic light with green signal and under condition that the second forthcoming traffic light still shows yellow signal, periodically receive information about calculated time instant of changing mentioned yellow light signals for green signals and use this information to optimise traffic control for both each train individually and all trains in subdivision in its entirety.

EFFECT: improvement of traffic capacity and efficiency of train driving on railway haul under three-digit automatic blocking with intermediate signals.
