FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method under the invention, oil desalting is followed with distillation, and a diesel fraction with boiling temperature 171-341°C is sampled from a crude distillation unit; the fractions with boiling temperature 341°C and higher is delivered to be refined with black oil to a vacuum column wherefrom the fractions with boiling temperatures 181-304°C and 226-326°C are sampled, mixed in the balance ratio with the diesel fraction from the crude distillation unit, and the balance mixture of these fractions when distilled by ASTM D-86 method has an end boiling point 340°C and less; the prepared mixture is hydrorefined to make the diesel fuel.
EFFECT: method under the invention allows generation of diesel fuel with sulphur concentration no more than 10 ppm.
