FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry and can be used for bottomhole support in sand wells. In the method of bottomhole support in sand wells involving formation of a filter by preparing and injection of polymer composition and hydrochloric acid to be settled for curing polymer composition; at first polymer composition is injected, and it is followed with injecting hydrochloric acid in the form of 10-15% water solutions in the ratio 1:1 to polymer composition with the diametre of bottomhole coverage less than 1.8 m, and the polymer composition is prepared by mixing urea-formaldehyde resin and acetone-formaldehyde resin in the ratio 4:1 respectively and aluminium powder in amount 0.05÷0.2% of the weight of polymer composition.

EFFECT: simplified and more efficient control of sand production in the wells due to formation of solid, alternate load resistant and impermeable filter, reduced duration of support process of bottomhole zones due to the absence of additional operations of washout of separate components to ensure a cured filter with required porosity and processing of an artificial polymer filter.
