FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of trajectory parametres of whatever wells, and can be used, primarily, in navigation systems of horizontally-directed drilling complexes. Measurement of angular speed is performed by gyro and accelerometre arranged on rotary platform in, at least, 8 directions. Measured signal and method of consecutive approximations are used to determine the parametres of ideal sine curves. They are also used to determine amplitudes and initial phase to define azimuthal and zenith angles. In processing the signals, systematic components of transducer errors are compensated. Prior to operation, inclination metre is calibrated with determination of amplitude and phase output characteristics of the instrument to define tolerances in use of phase method. In operation, azimuth is determined in tolerable ranges using phase method, while amplitude method is used for intolerable ranges.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and expanded performances.
