SUBSTANCE: switching device with illumination includes base, switch located on the first base surface; light source located on the second base surface; key surface located above switch, and light-guide mechanism provided in close proximity to the key surface. Light-guide mechanism includes the first light-guide element enveloping and retaining the key surface, and the second light-guide element intended for covering the light source. The light emitted from light source will pass through the second light-guide element to the first light-guide element located so that it can envelop the key surface.
