SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a key module (100) for a key of a keyboard. Key module (100) comprises a module base (130) operable to connect to the a module cover (150) connected to the module base (130) and a key tappet (140) for coupling translucent, at least in at least a symbol portion of a keycap (160). Module base (130) comprises at least one through-hole between a bottom section of the key module and the module cover (150), and the module cover (150) is translucent to light, in particular a color-changeable light source (120), for back-lighting the symbol portion of the keycap (160) the translucent portion (355) is aligned with the base (130) coupled with the module cover (150), at least, with one through-hole (135).
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the clear allocation of various input commands.
