FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to research of strength properties of thinnest film materials. The invention concept is as follows: sample is prepared and installed on experimental plant. Loaded with single-sided pressure. Required parametres are measured. Results of measurements are processed, and conclusion is made on strength properties of film material. Tested sample is laid onto perforated base, pressed with gripping ring, working medium is supplied via openings of perforated base, variation of produced dome shape is monitored with measurements of controlled parametres as pressure increases, and information obtained on variation of dome shape is processed depending on type of deformation. Mechanical characteristics are assessed by values of elasticity modules. Device comprises source of working medium pressure, main for supply of working medium, body with loading chamber cavity, metreing and monitoring complex. Body has perforated base for location of sample pressed with a gripping ring, besides specified perforated base for location of sample has convex shape, and convex surface of perforated base is shaped with account of parametre identified according to the ratio.

EFFECT: increased accuracy, expansion of application field.
